In October 2023, Woonerf Inc. received a one-star (\u2605) Fitwel rating for health and comfort at its head office in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo. This is the third Fitwel certification aquisition in Japan (and the first for a commercial interior space).<\/p>\n
Fitwel is a performance evaluation system developed and operated by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the U.S. Government Procurement Office (GSA).
\nEach of the 12 evaluation categories is weighted, and the total score ranges from one star (\u2605) to three stars (\u2605\u2605\u2605).<\/p>\n
In the process of acquiring Fitwel, Woonerf revised its internal rules and regulations as necessary, aiming to evolve to a healthier and more comfortable working environment, both physical and institutional. In addition, we have acquired the WELL Health-Safety Rating in 2020 for the first time in Japan and the WELL Equity Rating this year for the first time in the world. We will continue to challenge ourselves on new rating systems as a leading sustainability company. Together with conventional WELL and LEED consulting services, we will provide the service for fitwel aquisition to companies and organizations interested in this rating system.<\/p>\n
This project used Fitwel v2.1, and v3 is scheduled to be launched at the end of 2023.<\/p>\n
