Background and Purpose of the new Joint Venture Company<\/strong><\/h5>\n

To achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, the energy and industrial sectors must make huge structural transformation efforts. The building and real estate sectors, accounting for a large percentage of greenhouse gas emissions, are expected to play a greater role in decarbonization throughout the industry.<\/p>\n

Woonerf provides sustainability consulting, engineering and technical solutions as well as certification advisory, and has completed more than 150 projects in Japan with LEED, WELL, SITES, and other international certifications for built-environment spaces.<\/p>\n

Quest is an energy-focused consulting and engineering business in the United States, with experience in Energy Modeling, Commissioning, Code Compliance and Energy Audits, and more than 300 LEED consulting engagements.<\/p>\n

The two companies have collaborated on a variety of projects over the years. Recognizing the potential for energy-related services in the Japanese sustainability market, Woonerf and Quest have established a new joint venture to offer solutions that leverage the knowledge and experience of both organizations.<\/p>\n
