In August 2024, Celestica Japan (Hino, Tokyo), for which Woonerf provided consulting support, was TRUE certified, a certification for zero waste, audited and certified by Green Business Certification Inc.™ (GBCI®).

This certification is named Total Resource Use and Efficiency because it is a certification system that reduces waste through an approach that takes into account resource use and its efficiency. The acronym TRUE stands for Total Resource Use and Efficiency.

Our project has been included in the TRUE project list of GBCI®.

Percent of Overall Diversion Achieved: 95.1%  *It has achieved an average diversion rate of more than 90% for waste over the last 12 months.
