Certification Consulting
Third-party green building certification systems are used to certify the fulfillment of criteria set to assess the sustainability of buildings and cities. Using those systems helps projects to differentiate themselves in the marketplace by achieving sustainability goals ranging from energy efficiency to carbon neutrality, resource recycling, ecosystem conservation, and health promotion through environmentally conscious design and operation.
Certification systems such as LEED® and BREEAM, which were designed in the 1990s, are now widely used worldwide as indicators for promoting green buildings, and WELL, which began to spread in the mid-2010s, is also attracting widespread attention as a framework for promoting the health of people who use buildings.
Woonerf supports its clients by leveraging its expertise and experience in achieving certifications for all kinds of spaces, including buildings (from single properties to entire portfolios), tenant spaces, city blocks, cities, and communities owned or leased as part of business or investment activities.
We have project experience with LEED BD+C, ID+C, O+M, Homes, and ND certifications and have been named a Proven Provider™ for BD+C v2009.
The LEED® Proven Provider™ designation recognizes project-experienced organizations that have consistently provided quality LEED certification work. Woonerf was named a LEED® Proven Provider™ for LEED BD+C v2009 by GBCI® in April 2017.
