Green Finance Supporters Program <Consulting Division> Registered Supporter

The Green Finance Supporters Program is an official registration system established by Japan’s Ministry of the Environment to promote the realization of a decarbonized society. Under this program, advisors, consultants, and third-party evaluation organizations with specialized knowledge and practical expertise are registered and publicly listed to support companies, municipalities, and other entities seeking to utilize sustainable financing methods such as green bonds and sustainability-linked loans. This initiative aims to foster and implement high-quality green finance.

Woonerf, as a registered supporter in the “Consulting Division,” leverages its expertise in environmental certification support within the building and real estate sectors to assist sustainable real estate projects—from developing financing strategies to execution.

We have established a support framework for the following sustainable finance instruments:

Supporting a phased approach to green building

Woonerf, in collaboration with its affiliated companies (Arc Japan Inc. and QW Energy Solutions Inc.), provides comprehensive support for visualizing the environmental performance of entire real estate portfolios and offers phased recommendations tailored to the condition of each building.

For high-performing buildings, we assist in obtaining green building certifications such as LEED®, BREEAM®, and CASBEE® for Real Estate, as well as Arc Performance Certificates, further enhancing the asset value for our clients. For properties with room for improvement, we conduct energy audits and operational optimization, developing actionable plans to improve energy efficiency and operational performance.

This phased approach drives improvements across the entire portfolio’s environmental performance and contributes to higher GRESB scores. Our mission is to transform real estate portfolios into sustainable assets that attract investors and tenants, strengthening competitiveness in the market.
