In January 2026, the Woonerf Tokyo Office earned Platinum certification under LEED® v4.1 O+M: Interior (Building Operations and Maintenance), scoring 82 points in the recertification process.

Woonerf previously obtained Gold certification in its initial LEED® O+M assessment in December 2022. This successful recertification marks a significant upgrade to the Platinum level.

Note:
LEED® rating systems that evaluate design, such as BD+C, are assessed only once at the time of new construction. In contrast, LEED® O+M—focused on the operational performance of existing buildings—recommends renewal at least once every three years to support continuous improvement in building environmental performance.

Regarding the Registration Deadlines for LEED v4 and v4.1

The registration deadlines for LEED v4 and v4.1 are set for the end of Q2 2026 (June 2026).

According to the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC®), registration for LEED® BD+C, ID+C, and O+M under versions v4 and v4.1 will close on June 30, 2026, after which only LEED v5 will be available for new registrations.
