Woonerf participated in the “Climate Ambition Accelerator 2022” program of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) and completed it in October 2022.

This program is a six-month learning program for companies aiming to work towards scientifically verified and independently set targets to maintain the big goal of keeping global warming below 1.5 or 2 degrees Celsius, with a focus on SBTi (Science Based Targets initiative). It also provides support for achieving net-zero emissions.

During the CAA, SBTi and its common tools, case studies, and methodologies behind the targets were introduced. We have completed the CAA and have further increased our interest in the Science Based Targets initiative, and we will continue to work towards our own targets as a small and medium-sized enterprise.
