Page TopAnnouncement: Woonerf to be the first in Japan to be TRUE Gold certified
In January 2022, Woonerf, Inc. obtained a Gold certification in the TRUE (Total Resource Use and Efficiency) certification system operated by Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI).
The TRUE certification aims to change the flow of materials in society so that all products are ultimately reused and can avoid being sent to landfills or incineration (including thermal recycling). In pursuit of this certification, efforts are made to support waste and greenhouse gas emissions reduction, risk management, resource reinvestment, and job creation. The certification also provides best practices and training for businesses, property managers, schools, government agencies, and non-profit organizations to achieve zero waste.
The TRUE certification project is intended to demonstrate that a company has achieved a waste diversion rate of 90% or higher, while also considering environmental factors.
